The exact number of rounds or fights in the story mode can vary from chapter to chapter, but it typically consists of several battles for each character you control. Tower Play
02

In Mortal Kombat 11, the number of rounds in a tower varies depending on the tower type. Classic Towers typically have 5 rounds, while Towers of Time and Tag Towers can have varying round structures. Endless Towers continue indefinitely until you're defeated in single-round battles. The number of rounds can vary based on specific tower rules and objectives.
Team play

03
You can play as a team in the Mortal Kombat game Onslaught. In this standalone story-focused adventure, you can create a team of four to five fighters from a roster of 50 MK characters. You can take on a squad of enemies in the game.
You can also play Mortal Kombat 1 with friends online. The game has private lobbies with two modes: Versus and King of the Hill. Versus is a Kasual fight between two friends, while King of the Hill is a title defense bout with up to eight characters fighting each other.
To play together, both players should have the option "Krossplay" enabled. You can toggle this by going to the Online menu in-game and highlighting Kasual modes at the top-right of the screen. Once that is done, both players should use the feature in the Kasual Versus game mode.
